Apr 17 :AlphaSim Freeware models : when the older (mostly FS9-era) freeware models were uploaded to our freeware pages, it was the policy at that time not to include the panels and gauges, so many were without instruments. We are now happy to include all panels and gauges for any freeware models we list, so if you have already downloaded a free model from our site and it lacks a panel and/or gauges, drop us an e-mail and we can re-upload your model's complete Zip file(s) - this time with all panel files included.
May 19 :Apologies to recent purchasers of the HU-16 Albatross package, there was a small error in the installer which caused the aircraft's folder to be placed into the SimObjects folder rather than the Airplanes folder. If you have this problem, just drag and drop the folder 'Virtavia HU-16 Albatross' from the root of SimObjects to the SimObjects\Airplanes folder. A new v1.2 installer is being sent to vendors if you would prefer to just have a new file. Note - v1.2 has no changes over v1.1, just a fixed installer.May 18 :New version of the Mi-24 Hind available now ! Version 1.2 has been sent to our four FS vendors and they will be hosting it as soon as possible. Check your account at your vendor's site or contact them directly. Version 1.2 adds the following :Fixes missing animations in Polish and GDR VCs.Adds working landing light.Fixes incorrect texturing on right-side drip rail.Adds 14 new camera definitions for both interior and exterior views.
Alphasim Fsx Freeware Planes
Dec 27 : The AlphaSim Handley-Page Victor is now available as freeware :This once very popular addon includes the B.1A (white), K.1A (camo), and K.2 in both camo and hemp textures. Both FS9 and (native) FSX models have a VC, gauges, sounds, checklist and readme.txt. Both are available now, just head over to the Freeware pages : Virtavia Freeware Site.

Oct 11 :The old AlphaSim B-52 Stratofortress, F-117A Nighthawk and Dassault Mirage IV packages for FS2004 are now available as freeware. A VC and full 2D panel suite is included for each, the B-52 includes the Co-Pilot panel addon and a paint kit, and the F-117A includes custom sounds.
